Recently I found some friends happened to have changed their names… New name, new life… is that it? But you are who you are!
No offence, but you are in captivity of identity. Not knowing who you actually are. All you know is perhaps, you did something wrong or something bad happened before and thinking that changing identity helps you to move on a different life or direction.
Life is not like a hard disk. When there is something wrong with your computer, you reboot, reformat. But life is not as simple as you think. It is not as though you can reboot or reformat and start all over again as and when you want to. Whatever happened in the past makes you who you are now and what happens now makes you who you are in the future. And only after you have done it, then will you realize if it is wrong or right in your own individual mindset. Yes, there are things that you can simulate before things happen. But will all those simulations end up being what you are expecting? Well, definitely some, but I am sure not all of them.
Even memories that have been formatted and removed from a hard disk can still be retrieved unless the hard disk is physically destroyed. Look, aren’t hard disks like a human life too? We can forgive, but it is really hard to forget because whatever that has an impact over you, it will never go away. You can move on to your future by putting the past away or you can learn from it as well. But you will have to be brain dead to remove all of those. Unless so, even if you changed your name or even migrate oversea or even trying your best to avoid people from the past, whatever it is, once it pops up it is there. It will still be there under the higher state of your consciousness.
I would say take them as lessons. Either it will not happen or if history repeats itself, you would probably know by then how to handle it under harsh conditions. To gain strength is to face your weakness. When computer encounters viruses, there are anti viruses program to prevent it or patches to repair them. If you have virus in you, you must face it and find patches to fix it. And after you have fixed it, you will have higher immunity to it. It must be confronted and not running away from it.
It is really annoying when people try running away but claimed that they are not, and that they are moving forward. Well, I would say that is still, running. You have to make things clear and let all these off your chest. When it is finally fixed, that is when you can really move on. If not, it is just like you ignore the virus in your computer as long as it works, you move on. But then your computer will not last any longer, it collapses. If you cannot fix your past, it will haunt you when it resurfaces. It is just the same as your computer; a pop up will always appear during intervals, stating that there is a virus within. All you do is click ignore or cancel, if that is what you want.
And when you get so annoyed with all these, you reformat your computer even if you have to abandon those valuable data in your hard disk. Just like you try to abandon and avoid all those past happenings. I know what you guys out there would say. How about a backup drive? Your only back up drive is your friends and family who will be with you. Those involved re-triggers your past be it good or bad. If you have fixed it, it will be, “Hey do you remember those times we had? What a day that was…”, if not, “Oh come on give me a break, it is over let’s not talk about it anymore. It’s too much…”
So what do you want as you think you are moving on? Remember peeps, Face your weakness finds great strength.
