Handle It

Many always regret doing what they had done in the first place. And the only way to realize it is AFTER you have done it. You would not know before you do it, do you? After Action Review I should say…

But what done can never be undone. It boils down to chicken or egg first. Every time after something has been done, you thought you did it right because this is what you have decided. Only after you see the result then you will start pondering about what could have been done differently to make it better. There is no wrong or right with our decisions because we have our own way of handling stuff. It may be right for us but not for others. When you feel stronger after what you have done, probably that makes it right and the weaker ones will find you wrong, and they start getting defensive with all the aftermath.

Handle things differently? Well, if things can always be handled differently, the world is perfect don’t you think? You will not know what you could have handled differently ONLY after you see the results. And if you know these before you act, you can see future and the world would probably be perfect for most of us since we can get what we always wanted. Then it is time to WAKE UP!

Why not tell your all previous relationships, “You could have rejected this relationship in the first place to save you all these problems with me.” But hey, there are things you would not find out until it actually happens. And some things that have happened cannot be reversed. So perhaps it is time to think what the next best step is for you and all of us, whichever convinces you.

Once done it is irreversible. The only few things you can do after that is Regret, Reconciliation and/or Repent. If you regret, you cannot move on clinging on the past. If you reconcile, you are giving chances to salvage current situation and make up to it. If you repent, you tell yourself you will do your best not to repeat any major similar mistakes in all future undertakings. All these may happen at the same time. Let’s just see how you are going to decide upon that and I shan’t explain more.

I don’t exactly agree with people always telling me things should have been different if you handle it differently. As I have said, certain things cannot be seen until it happens. It is not as rational as doing up business projects or anything physically visible. Situations have to happen to see the invisibles. Like they always say, “You will only realize how much you ought to cherish when you lose it or starts losing it.”

Handle things differently? Then we shouldn’t have come to this… world? We call this Risk… =)
